YSL has raised the bar when it comes to fragrances. Introducing new fragrances to my collection like Black Opium and Mon Paris, which have now become staples. I am obsessed with YSL and I have never smelt so delicious. The newest fragrance to join their range and my collection is the highly awaited Yves Saint Laurent Mon Paris EDT and this scent was well worth the wait.
Yves Saint Laurent Mon Paris EDT Review *
This fragrance landed on NZ counters on the 18th of September and the wait was almost more than I could stand. From the playful polka dot bow to the candy-looking scent inside, the Yves Saint Laurent Mon Paris EDT looked playful and elegant at the same time and I was so intrigued to experience this scent. Plus, YSL packaging is perfection in my books. I would almost buy this fragrance just because of its gorgeous bottle. I am that kind of person.
This scent is fruity, sweet but it is lighter than the original and it is an EDT, not an EDP. It is not as sophisticated as the original scent but the lighter fragrance makes it a perfect match for everyday wear too. I do think the sweet notes in this fragrance might make it a little too sweet for some people, but I adore it. The scent is the perfect mix of fruity sweetness, fresh citrus, and musk sensual notes. Fresh, sensual, sweet and delicious.
I have a confession. This is a speed review. I have only been using this product for a week but I have been using it every day and I love how it smells. The scent does last all day but if I plan on doing something in the evenings, I would spritz myself again. For everyday wear, I prefer this scent over the original. I work in a small space and the OG scent was stronger and so it could be a little bit too much if you overspray, which is what I always do. I just feel so luxe walking through a perfume cloud.
Even though I have only been using it for a week, I have fallen head over heels with this new Paris scent and I am hoping YSL bring out more additions to this range because I can not get enough!
