Move over mermaids and unicorns, the new trend in town is darkening it up and turning it goth. According to Google, goths find beauty in dark things and I found a whole lot of beauty within the Wet n Wild Goth-O-Graphic. With pops of colours, highlighters, metallics and edgy packaging, this new collection seems to have something for everyone.
Wet n Wild Goth-O-Graphic Collection swatched & First Impressions
This collection is hot off the press and limited edition. Whenever products are LE, I put pressure on myself to get a post up so you guys can have a read, see some images and hear my thoughts before it sells out which is so common with many LE releases, especially ones with low price points like the Goth-O-graphic collection. I have only had this collection for the past week so this post is all about first impressions.
Megalast Liquid Catsuit Metallic Lipstick $12.99: Straight off the bat, metallic lipsticks have not been a trend that I have never had the courage to wear. I can’t help it, I am a nude lip girl at heart. These Liquid Catsuit Metallic Lipsticks are sheer but build-able and can be worn as a lipstick or as a lip topper. I hope that I have the balls to wear this black shade out in public but for now, I am saving it for selfies. As for the other two shades, I haven’t had a chance to test them out but I am 80% sure I could wear Wicked Pink when I am about and about.
Megalast Catsuit Liquid Eye-shadow $12.99: I feel so inspired by these eye-shadows shades. They are shimmery, glittery, pigmented, gorgeous and everything I want it a liquid eye-shadow. My favourites are Goth Tear and Pure intention and although I love the colour Nyctophilia, the glitter was a bit chunkier in the shade and I preferred the shimmery type formula that the other two shades have. These are build-able and look gorgeous all over the lid. I am super surprised to say that these do no crumble or smudge, once they are dry-they are good to go.
Megaliner Metallic Liquid Catsuit eyeliner $12.99: Wet n Wild have also included three liquid liners in the Goth-o-Graphic collection. These shades will definitely add a pop of colour to any eye look. From initial swatches, I can tell these are super pigmented so they might not be ideal for a bold wing but I think they would be perfect for detailing around the eye, especially the white shade!
Megaglow Loose Highlighting Powder in Moon Tears $14.99: If you want to know the one product that you NEED from this range, it is 100% the loose highlighting powder. Firstly, Wet N Wild, your packaging is on point. The sifter is in the shape of the skull and it is so easy to use without leave a trail of glitter dust around the house. Secondly, the highlight is so magnificent, I would believe it was tears from the moon. It;s a gorgeous champagne colour, can be used on the face or body and gives you a glow like you have been on a juice cleanse for the past 7 months.
Megaglow Highlighting Powder $12.99: These highlighters are another favourite of mine. What can I say, I love the glow. Coming in two shades, White Raven and Purple Ashes, these pans are embossed with a skull.
