In NZ, we have a lot of beauty brands. Most brands specialise in gorgeous skincare but few and far between create makeup products. The Organic Skin Company is one of these brands the make natural, makeup products. You got to admit, that’s pretty cool. Keep reading to hear more about the brand.
The Organic Skin Company
Firstly, I have not seen this brand around the block before and I love that. There is something so exciting about trying a product that you haven’t seen a million reviews for. It just makes it more exciting. The Organic Skin Company is an NZ beauty brand and all their products are natural and partly organic, which I think is amazing. What’s better? They don’t just make one or two beauty products, but they make everything you could need to do your makeup. Foundations, eyeshadows, lipsticks, mascara, lipgloss. Okay, you get the point. They make everything.
When it comes to natural beauty products, I almost feel like you need to compromise quality for the natural ingredients. Well, this is not the case with The Organic Skincare Company. Especially the eyeshadows, which have almost become an obsession of mine and you’ll see why. I have only tried a few things from the brand and one of their products is a stand-out, knockout with a formula that competes with my luxury brands.
Eyeshadow Palettes: I have only tried one palette from this brand and I was blown away by the quality. I actually rushed to my blog to post a review about this palette because I was that amazed by it. I won’t bother going into detail about it because you can read all about it here. All you need to know is this palette has 4 gorgeous pans, which pack pigment, are long wearing and the palette blew my mind. Why is no one talking about this product? It is so underrated and a knock-out product.
Eyeshadow Singles: I’m such a doofas, I got two colours which happen to be featured in the palette above. Whoops, I did not plan that well but clearly, the colours appeal to me. I don’t know if it’s in my head, or if it’s actually right but I feel like the single shadows are slightly better, like slightly. Either way, these shadows are fricken gorgeous.
Lunar Luminizer: This is a cream highlighter and I am still playing around with it. I love how this gives my skin a healthy sheen, without making me become a glitterball. The only thing I’m not quite sure of the texture. It’s quite thick so blending does take an extra moment or two, but it doesn’t quite try down, it stays tacky and I’m not 100% sure how I feel about that. I will keep playing with it and try using it with a setting powder to see if that makes the magic happen. I’ll let you know.
Have you guys heard of this brand or would you like to hear more about it? I’m thinking it could be cool to do a full face of products from The Organic Skin Company range so let me know if that’s something you would like to see.
