Finally! The day has come, after not months but years of ogling over Nars products online, drooling over mecca counters, and swatching their products whenever I could get my hot little hands on them, I am proud to say I finally have some Nars products in my collection! I may now only have $4 in my bank account, but I still think it’s worth it.
First things i got are Nars blushes (L-R) Dolce Vita , Albatross (which is a highlighting blush), and Sin ($35 NZD each)
- Dolce vita is already a favourite of mine. It is a matte blush, and just adds something special to everyday makeup. It’s a really hard colour to describe, its like a dusky pinky-red.
- Sin is a beautiful muted berry hue, with a slight gold shimmer! Really pretty,
- Albatross is a product I had heard a lot about and it’s a white highlighter with a gold shimmer. It adds a beautiful clean gold highlight to cheekbones, and is another fast favourite of mine. If you love your highlighters, this is a must-have (the swatch does not do it justice)
And its just gets better and better.
The Nars translucent loose powder ($42 NZD) is amazing. I don’t know where I have been without it all my life. It’s a silky white powder, flecked with shimmer. It is completely colourless when blended and it sets foundation without being cakey. Plus it adds a slight luminous glow to skin because of the shimmery aspect of the product. Love it.
And last, but not least Nars sheer glow foundation ($52 NZD). I tried this product 2 years ago, and have dreamed about owning it ever since. It provides medium coverage over my skin, and gives it a healthy glow which I adore. Only downside is that it doesn’t come with a pump so will have to pick that up next time!
Its official. I love Nars products and need more in my life. When I get more than $4 in my bank, I will be getting my hands on Nars Orgasm blush, a Nars foundation pump, and some Nars Audacious lipsticks. I may be waiting awhile though.
In case you were wondering. I purchased these products off beauty.com when they were having a 20% off sale, and used youshop to forward my parcel onto NZ.
