You know those fragrances that you spray on yourself every time you walk past a fragrance counter, the ones you lust for at duty-free, the one you always talk about to your friends and family.. well La Vie Est Belle was the fragrance that did this to me. I had to talk about this fragrance on my blog and so today’s post is the Lancome La Vie Est Belle review.
Lancome La Vie Est Belle Review
Not going to lie, I loved the idea of this fragrance and that was before I had even sprayed it. Lancome nailed the marketing for this product and I saw the ads before I even knew this product was getting released. Not only did the perfume look beautiful, but I really love the name of the fragrance which is called Lancome La Vie Est Belle, which translates to life is beautiful.. or make life beautiful (I’ll have to confirm this). Either way, I love it.
Lancome La Vie Est Belle retails for $117 (30ml) or $158 (50ml). I guess that price could be considered expensive but all my fragrances are in the price range so I guess I am used to it. Although I do love the packaging, it does look like it’s a lot of glass and the design isn’t super compact. Not like that’s really important but it probably means that this wouldn’t be the best fragrance to travel with. I think the packaging is really pretty though and so it doesn’t bother me.
Before I even attempt to describe the fragrance, I’m going to apologise. I suck at describing scents but I will give it my best shot. The scent is definitely sweet, so if you are not a fan of sweet fans, this one probably isn’t for you. Personally, I love fragrances that have a bit of sweetness. I find the fragrance is definitely the sweetness straight after it is sprayed. Once it settles, I think the fruitier and floral notes come out which just seem to tone down the sweetness and make the fragrance smell more sophisticated. Does that make sense or am I just rambling now?
I adore this fragrance and I am so grateful that it is finally in my collection. I spray it 2 times over me in the morning and the scent lingers all day. Plus, it leaves my room smelling amazing. A house fragrance and a perfume in one. Winning. This product is the EDP version so it is so strong which is perfect because nobody wants to re-spray their perfume throughout the day.
I don’t know if reading my Lancome La Vie Est Belle Review is good enough to make you purchase this fragrance. I find that fragrances are so personal and what smells good on someone else might not smell nice of you. All I can say is I am loving this perfume and If you love sweeter scents with light floral notes, then the Lancome La Vie Est Belle is worth trying out and giving it the sniff test.
